Three ways to put hold time to work.

One size doesn't fit all. Every program is scripted, voiced, and mixed for your business — the difference is how long the recording runs and how often it changes. Pick the shape; we'll find the plan that fits your budget and your marketing goals.

How you'd like to buy
One monthly figure covers writing, voice, music, and loading. Most clients land here — hold time earns when the message changes.

What sets the price

Two questions decide it. Most companies never ask either.

Anyone can quote a number without asking. If you want the best marketing result and the most pleasant hold, the price follows from how long the recording needs to be and how often it should change.

01

How long should the recording be?

  • How long is your typical caller on hold?
  • When someone waits longer than typical — how much longer?
  • Should the message start from the top each time, or pick up in a different paragraph (unicast vs. multicast)?

The moment a caller hears the same message twice, the thought is "I've been on hold forever." Length is set so that never happens.

02

How often should it be updated?

  • How often do the same customers call back?
  • How often do you introduce new products or services?
  • Are you seasonal, or do things change by calendar quarter?
  • Special events, trade shows, holidays, off-season promotions?

A holiday recording that builds a warm relationship does more for retention than a message nobody has changed since spring.

You have always been diligent about reminding us to change the recordings so that we don't have to remember it and, also, so that we get our money's worth.
Client since the first program
I thought only the big companies could afford this type of system, but thankfully, I was wrong. The benefits far outweigh the cost!

Why isn't there a number on this page?

Because a number quoted before the questions is just the cheapest guess. We have numerous affordable plans — a producer will find the one within your budget and consistent with your marketing goals.
